A Legacy of Giving Back

At Blue Bell Private Wealth Management, we are fully entrenched in the community we serve. Through local sponsorships and active philanthropy, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make a lasting, positive impact right here at home.

For Pete's Sake

Our team works intimately with For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, a Plymouth Meeting-based organization that helps cancer patients and their loved ones strengthen relationships and create unforgettable experiences through travel and other exciting events. Every year, we provide sponsorship for the annual For Pete’s Sake walk at Citizens Bank Park, which honors those who have lost their battles with cancer and celebrates cancer survivors and their caregivers. Our team also enjoys breaking out the running sneakers and actually participating in the walk. Our founding partner sits on the board of this important organization, and we have formed great relationships with their staff, other board members, and their groups of volunteers.

Blue Bell Wealth Management Cycling

Blue Bell Private Wealth Management also has a local sponsorship for a cycling team, the Blue Bell Private Wealth Management p/b Cannondale. This awesome team is also in coordination with For Pete’s Sake. One brave cyclist named Jared Fenstermacher set off on a cross-country cycling quest four years ago to raise money for FPS. Tragically, he was hit by a truck and was left paralyzed. This past year, Jared completed his trip using his hands and a specialized bike. Our team is truly inspired by Jared’s passion and his story, and we are proud to work closely with the entire cycling team.

Being in a position to help make a difference in our Montgomery County community is an immeasurable privilege that we have. Whether it’s helping our clients properly plan for retirement, or being involved in community-enhancing projects, local involvement is a top priority to us. Years of success in the financial sector have positioned us to make generous donations to various organizations, but our core values and our company missions encourage us to actively participate beyond monetary contribution.

31 Days to Amaze

Blue Bell Private Wealth Management works with Shriners Hospital for Children for their annual 31 Days to Amaze campaign in October. This is a collaborative effort between local businesses and communities to support the hospital’s mission of reaching as many children as possible with necessary patient-centered, wrap-around care to as many children as possible, wherever they live. These donations allow Shriners Hospital to provide innovative pediatric specialty care, research, and medical education. This cause, in particular, is important to us. Our leadership has a direct reason to be involved.

“I understand the struggles faced by children with complex medical conditions. Growing up, I battled a rare disease known as Chiari malformation with an attached syringomyelia. This journey began with a scoliosis diagnosis, leading to years of wearing a brace nearly around the clock from fifth to eighth grade. Experiencing these challenges first-hand has given me profound empathy for children enduring similar health issues. I was fortunate to receive top-tier care, something I wish for every child facing such daunting health battles. This is why I passionately support Shriners Hospitals. They provide critical care to children who otherwise lack access to necessary medical resources. My donation is more than a gift; it’s a reflection of my journey, a commitment to helping others facing similar challenges, and a belief in the transformative power of compassionate healthcare.”

EITC For Charity

Blue Bell is proud to have supported a number of local high schools through the EITC and OSTC tax credit programs to benefit students with a demonstrated financial need from across the region.

Enacted by the Pennsylvania legislature in 2001, the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) provides a tax credit to businesses that pay Pennsylvania’s corporate income tax for contributions to scholarship organizations that give private-school scholarships to eligible children.

In August 2012, Pennsylvania created a second program—the Opportunity School Tax Credit (OSTC)—to offer further support for students whose neighborhood public school is low-achieving.

The EITC and OSTC programs enable a Pennsylvania business to direct up to $750,000 of its Pennsylvania state tax dollars directly to Penn Charter’s scholarship program. Tax credits are given for 75 percent of a one- year gift and 90 percent of gifts given in two consecutive years.
